Quiet Thanksgiving Day at home. We cooked --- Phil worked with the kids on the turkey and stuffing and several pies (here is Julia working on mincemeat!). I made a pumpkin pie with Tim, and Tim made Indian rice pudding called Kheer. Frieda handled the veggies -- mashed potatoes, turnips, and green beans. It was a lovely and relaxing day. We even managed to get in a long hike withe dogs!
This pic of me with Annie and Toby is a classic. We didn't notice Toby in the background until we looked closely at the picture later.
